What we do
The Canada Club hosts two dinners a year in London. The highlight of each is an address by a speaker of significant achievement with connections to or of interest to Canadians.
Past speakers have included every Canadian Prime Minister from the first, Sir John A. MacDonald, to the current Prime Minister, Stephen Harper as well as many British and international speakers.
The Canada Club is honoured to enjoy the support and involvement of our Patron, HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Our first dinner of 2009 is on Wednesday 8 July. Our speaker is Michael Ignatieff.
Other dinners are provisionally scheduled for October 2009 and May 2010.
In addition, plans are already underway for a special celebration in October 2010 to celebrate the Club’s Bicentennial. |
